常州大学坐落于经济发达、人文荟萃的江南历史文化名城——江苏省常州市。学校始建于1978年，1981年经国务院批准，正式定名为江苏化工学院；1992年正式成为中国石油化工集团公司（原中国石油化工总公司）管理的部属院校，并更名为江苏石油化工学院，后更名为江苏工业学院；2010年，经教育部批准正式更名为常州大学。2011年，江苏省人民政府与中国石油天然气集团公司、中国石油化工集团公司、中国海洋石油总公司成功签署共建常州大学协议。

二、招聘条件及待遇标准

原则要求应聘者具有博士学位；根据学校目前的学科发展与团队建设的需要，学校在人才引进的待遇方面采用灵活机制，即实行年薪制、低职高聘等方式兑现待遇，并给予相应的安家费、科研启动费及其他优惠条件。

Changzhou University (CZU) is located in the historical, cultural and economically developed city of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. Founded in 1978, Changzhou University, authorized by the State Council, was officially named Jiangsu Institute of Chemical Technology in 1981. In 1992, it became attached to China Petrochemical Corporation Group (originally China Petrochemical Corporation). As a result, it was renamed the Jiangsu Institute of Petrochemical Technology, which was then later changed to Jiangsu Industrial Institute. In 2010, the University was approved by the Ministry of Education to be named as Changzhou University. In 2011, the Government of Jiangsu Province signed an agreement with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the Sinopec Group Company, as well as China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) to co-develop Changzhou University. 

Over the last thirty-six years The University has developed into an institution of higher learning，that is strong in engineering, science and management and enhanced by other disciplinary subjects. Its distinguishing features are in the integration of “enterprises, universities and research institutions”. The university has one Materials and Engineering Science PhD program drawn from the first level disciplines; ten masters degree programs from the first level disciplines; thirty-nine masters degree programs from the second level disciplines and seven engineering masters degree programs. The University has sixty-five undergraduate programs covering engineering, science, management, economics, literature, laws and arts, as well as medical, agricultural and education sciences. There is one provincially strong discipline, also two key ministry disciplines；five key first level provincial disciplines and six provincial innovation teams，with seven key provincial laboratories and sixteen provincial engineering centers. There are three national featured majors and seven key provincial majors. Changzhou University today enters into a new phase of its historical development, taking its motto seriously, to “Be brave to shoulder responsibility and be persistent in pursuing excellence”.

I. CZU has job vacancies in the following areas: 

Chemical industry, food, materials, bio-pharmaceuticals, machinery, environmental engineering, rail transportation, electronic and information engineering, economic management, law, fine arts etc. Applicants from new and interdisciplinary areas are also welcome.

II. Qualifications and salary description

In general, PhD holders are preferred, but non-PhD holders in other areas of high demand will be offered flexible and competitive terms. We offer higher annual salaries than holders of similar degrees will find elsewhere, as well as relocation fees and strong research funding. Other favorable conditions can also be negotiated for excellent candidates.
